Geraldine Mahinay 23, gave birth at LRT Pedro Gil station last Saturday. Geraldine and her sister-in-law is on their way to Favella Memorial Hospital to have her check up, but while on the train she felt contractions and went into labor.    

After giving birth security guards and staff brought her to Philippines General Hospital. PGH representative said that  Geraldine and her baby boy is in good condition.

 Alexandria Mills is the new Miss World. Held in Southern China, 100 beautiful women participated in the said beauty pageant.

 Mills is 18 year olds, from Louisville, Kentucky, she just graduated from highschool and wants to be a teacher.

Emma Wareus of Botswana came 2nd , and Adriana Vasini of Venezuela is the third runner up.

Kaiane Aldorino of Gibraltar gave the crown after winning the pageant last year in South Africa.

Ogie is so thankful to the Punta Fuego management for allowing them to celebrate their unions of hearts at the said resort. It will be a privated wedding, Punta Fuego provided security to make the wedding solemn and organized.

Suspect to the bar exam bombing surrendered

Anthony Leal Nepomuceno remains a suspect and still insists his innocence to the crime. Nepomuceno an Alpha Phi Omega member and a call center agent, asked the help of his brod Vice Pres. Jejomar Binay. The 26 years old member of APO MLQU Chapter is accused of throwing a grenade outside De La Salle University Taft. A grenade exploded right in the middle of the street while well wishers, law students and relatives greet the bar examinees.

The incident left more than 40 people hurt including Raissa Laurel who lost his both legs. Reward to speed up the investigation and captivity of the culprit went up to 1.2 million.  
 
In spite of his appearance to the DOJ, Nepomuceno will not be detained because there's no charges filed against him.


DOJ Secretary Leila De Lima said "Wala Kaming sasantuhin. The investigation will go through the correct process. It doesn't matter to us who are the members of this fraternity.

The sketch  clearly match Nepomuceno's looks and description. Base on the witnesses description the suspect is a 20-25 year old male, medium build, 5'6 to 5'7 in height and weights 60-65 kls.

 

Paul Octopus oracle died

Paul the octopus became famous for its prediction for the FIFA Word Cup 2010 held in South Africa. He died in his aquarium at Oberhausen Sea Life Aquarium in Germany, one staff discovered his lifeless body Tuesday.

Before any speculations of foul play General Manager Stefan Porwoll stated “He died peacefully in the night of a natural death. It is a comforting thought that he had a good life with us, with the best possible care by a dedicated team.”

Paul's body is now preserved and will be cremated, his memorial will show “most beautiful and moving moments.”  

His urn containing his ashes will be on display together with the national flag of  football  team for his great predictions.

October 21 Annabelle Rama had a press conference for her upcoming birthday on Oct. 28, with her are her 29 talents under Royal Artists Management. The supposed to be happy and fun conference turns to be a declaration of war with Heart and her mother.

Of course, after closing that deal, siyempre na-hurt ang mom ko because she exerted effort din naman for the career of Heart. Willing Willie will be a "family bonding game show"

Officially Willie Revillame is back! Willing Willie premiered and will try to start a new trend in Philippine television. WW.girls start the show with their energetic and sexy dance move, after a few minutes of dancing  Willie Revillame came out wearing his color gold coat and pants paired with pink long sleeve. Owen Ercia and DJ Cookie stayed with Willie and now joining him in his new show.

Just like what he does in his defunct show, he pumped up the audience and sing the theme song of the show. After his opening, he thanked ABS-CBN where he worked for 5 years and of course TV5 for accepting him. Willie explained that his new show will be a "family bonding game show",  Willing Willie is from 6:30pm-8:00pm from Monday to Saturday.

Glee GQ photo racy- Parents Television Council

GQ Magazine has Glee main cast on the cover, Lea Michelle, Dianna Agron, and Corey Monteith, but Parents Television Council is said to be upset about it. 

Wednesday PTC issued a statement  

"It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on 'Glee' in this way. It borders on pedophilia," the organization's president Tim Winter claimed. "Sadly, this is just the latest example of the overt sexualization of young girls in entertainment."  PTC also described the photos as "near pornographic"

The Council wants to know why the girls are wearing provocative clothing while the guy is fully clothe. The concern is about Glee being the most watched show by young viewers is setting a bad example to them.

PTC is also saying that the show is masquerading as a family show and inappropriate for young viewers.

Justin Bieber "Unplugged" and a kid calling him a "faggot"

He will be releasing an acoustic album next month, as Justin Bieber tweeted "Curious...What is your favorite song on MY WORLD and MY WORLD 2.0?? If you could remix any song with another artist which would it be? And who would you want me to duet with?? and on which song?? Thanks,"  The tweet is a hint that Justin will take his fans back when he was still making videos on youtube using just his guitar.

On the other hand, while he's having a good time, a kid call him a "faggot" and now the kid's father is filing a complaint against him.TMZ reported, Justin were playing laser tag when a kid cornered him and as the kid never stopped Justin said "that's enough"  and the kid said "What are you gonna do about it, faggot?"
The kid was taunting Justin but the teenage superstar just pushed the kid's hand away. The kid's father was there, and repeatedly saying that he is a lawyer.
 
Now with the recent issue about bullying, Justin is said to be a victim and encouraging to speak out. He will reach a lot of kids as he will give a message to them.
 

Bagyong Juan a.k.a Typhoon Megi

Bagyong Juan with international name Typhoon Megi enter the Philippine area of responsibility last Sunday morning and hit Northern Luzon Monday morning. Isabela is now under State of Calamity, there's no electricity, thousands of people lost their home,trees and post collapsed. Bagyong Juan brought 140 mph of winds and pour heavy rains. 

As of this morning 13 people died and left 8,000 people homeless. Bagyong Juan's strong winds wiped out vehicles and brought trees down, in Pangasinan a mother, her daughter and son died as a tree collapsed and landed in their house.

Over 36 millions crops were damaged and as expected price of some vegetables and other crops will be higher.Secretaries Voltaire Gazmin (Defense) and Corazon Soliman (Social Welfare), NDRRMC executive director Benito Ramos, and representatives of the departments of Agriculture, Health, and Education will do an aerial inspection to assess the damage. 

President Aquino III said "could have been much greater had we not prepared for the storm." PAGASA and other institutions have been preparing just before the typhoon landed in the Philippines.
 
Before the typhoon landed in the Philippines, typhoon Megi left Vietnam with 41 deaths, including people inside a bus that is swept off by the typhoon. In Thailand 5 died and 55,000 people were affected by this typhoon.

Paula Abdul is back on T.V., the former American Idol judge has a new show on CBS. Live to Dance is a dance show for people who love to dance, its open for all ages. It can be a group, a duo, or just do it solo, it can be hip-hop dance,ballroom or freestyle.



Paula will be one of the judges and with her are choreographer Travis Payne and Kimberly Wyatt. Paula is also the  executive producer of the show.

Nominees for the 38th American Music Awards

Tuesday night Demi Lovato and Taio Cruz  announced the nominees for the 38th American Music Awards. Eminem and Lady Antebellum led the lists of nominees with five nominations, second is Justin Bieber with four. Justin Bieber and Eminem is both nominated for favorite artist of the year, together with Katy Perry, Kesha and Lady Gaga.

The announcement of winners will be on November 21 at Nokia Theater in  Los Angeles and will be telecast live by ABC.

ABS-CBN's statement: Bea-Gerald-Kim=threats

After Gerald speak out  at the press con of Till My Heartaches End, about the threat that he has been receiving, ABS-CBN is now releasing a statement about the matter.

"Star Magic has received numerous emails from fans threatening Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson, their respective families, star magic personnel and ABS-CBN executives. We have already forwarded their threatening emails to the proper authorities to determine if these people can be identified, caught and prosecuted. As we do this we appeal to them to please stop the threats and respect the personal decisions of our artists.”

The said fans of Kim-Gerald love team send hate emails to Bea, Gerald and his family. Kim is supporting Gerald on doing other project with other girls and had no bad feelings about the idea. Kimerald already denied that they are the group behind the said hate emails and threats.

Chilean Miners are all safe!!

Celebration of life for Chile as 33 trapped miners was rescued after 69 days in the dark hole. Chilean President Sebastian Pinera waited for the miners to emerge from the 2,050 feet hole.When the capsule unload the first miner, he was greeted with warm hugs and tearful celebration from their family, friends and countrymen.

The 33 miners were trapped after the mine collapsed on August 5, some believed that they are all dead. After 17 days, rescuers discovered that they are all trapped 2,050 feet below.When they were discovered, live images of the miners, their situation and how they survived, is seen by the world.



Different emotions is seen in the miners face once they reach the surface, the oldest miner Mario Gomez is so thankful that he is alive and was able to survived the tragedy. The second miner, Mario Sepulveda is so happy and even gave the president and his fellow miners stones that will serve as a souvenir.After giving the stones he went to the crowd and started to yell Chi!Chi! Chi!Le!Le!Le!



Each miners will have to travel 20 minutes to emerge from the hole. The a shift foreman Luis Urzua, is the last miner who came out. Luis is the one who held the group together and  kept their food and supplies last up to the time they were rescued.

The trapped miners wore a special suit as a protection while on the capsule and a sun glass to protect their eyes once they reach the surface. Some miners who have been rescued are healthy and some experienced dizziness but they are all safe now and resting at the hospital.

The whole world watches as one by one, miners emerges safely,smiling and hugging their loved ones. U.S President Barack Obama is one of those who continuously watches the rescue operation. He sent out his praises to the Chilean government and to all the people who helped the miners.

Jersey Shore reality star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino was elimated last night at DWTS 11. "The  Situation" and Karina Smirnoff dance Argentine Tango at the performance night. Monday's scores are base on their performance and the technicality of their dance, the eliminated couple only got  12 for technical and 16 for performance, a total of 28 points out of 60.

The three couple who are in the bottom are Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas, Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya, The Sitch and Karina. The final verdict, tango dance is "The Situation's" last dance at Dancing with the stars Season 11.

The other celebrities who been eliminated this season are David Hasselhoff and Micheal Bolton.

President Noynoy single and ready to mingle.

President Noynoy is single again. Reports came out that he broke up with Valenzuela Councilor Shalani Soledad two weeks ago. When he arrived from his trip from the U.S, the President and her now ex had ended their almost a year relationship. Even if the press people are so eager to know how they feel and asking them about their break up, both parties decided to keep it to themselves.

Now that the president is a bachelor, rumors are circulating about him dating and seeing other women.

First is the girl whom he went out with last week. When the President was asked about her in a press conference, he said "sya ang taong di na makikipakita dahil ayaw nya ng atensyon".

Patricia Anne Roque or Trish Roque on the other hand, is a former child star and now a TV5 reporter, is also being link to him. But the President already said that he can't remember meeting her. Trish is also puzzled where the said rumors came from.

Liz Uy is President Noynoy's stylist and very close to his younger sister Kris Aquino. Kris is known for pairing President Noynoy to women whom she thinks will take care of his brother. Will Kris be victorious about this?

Kim Chui and Gerald Anderson have been supported by their avid fans since they went out at the PBB house. When rumors spread out that Gerald will be team up with Bea Alonzo,he started to received threats and hate mails. The scariest was, a fan threatening to pour acid to Gerald and Bea's face.

“Marami po akong natatanggap na hate mails kahit sa bahay ko, ang mga mahal ko sa buhay ko ay nadadamay,” he said.

As Gerald breaksdown he went out and never came back at the presscon, staff said that Gerald experiencing hyperventilation.

When Kim left alone in the presscon, she cries and explained“Ako, okay ako, ayaw kong may naririnig ako na papatayin si Bea, tatapunan ng asido at papatayin si Gerald, ayaw ko ng ganoon,” she said.

Kim also thanked those fans who understand and still supporting their love team.  

Glee on Saturday Night LIve

Jane Lynch did a monologue to open Saturday Night Live. Jane plays Sue Sylvester on Glee, with her singing skills she sung the theme song of Glee, the big difference, the lyrics is all about her character.

To complete the whole Glee theme, they did a parody of the said show.

 

WW.girls of Willing Willie

No one can stop Willie Revillame and PO5 from airing Willing Willie. The said show is the newest show of Willie after leaving ABS CBN and Wowowee. It will be officially launch on Oct 23 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

Aside from prizes and new games, Willie also have new girls. WW.Girls are the new dance group of Willing Willie. It is a combination of former Wowowee dancers and new recruits. Ana Feliciano, who remain loyal to Willie, is the ww.girls manager/choreographer.

American Idol runner up Adam Lambert had a successful concert yesterday at Mall of Asia Concert Ground. The event is part of the Glam Nation World Tour.

Robert Pattinson Kristen Steward date

Monday night Robert Pattinson and Kristen Steward was spotted leaving West Hollywood restaurant, Ago. The two has never been open publicly about their "relationship".

Last month Robert drove his way from Los Angeles to New Orleans just to visit Kristen. As much as they can they want to keep it private, and to have a normal romantic relationship.
