American Idol performance night this week is pre-taped, the show will run for two hours and they have to fit all the performances and comments of the judges. The theme of the show tomorrow is "Your Personal Idol", the top 13 will try interpret the songs their Idols sung and popularized.
Pia Toscano who made a great performance on the eliminations will do a Celine Dion song "All by Myself". Ashthon Jones, I think loves the old love songs, last week she sung "I Have Nothing" and this week she will do "When You Tell me That You Love Me" by Diana Ross. Thia Megia who has been compared to her Idol Michael Jackson, will sing "Smile" by Charlie Chaplin. Naima Adedapo will try to do "Umbrella" by Rihanna, it is very interesting because Naima's style is far from Rihanna's genre.
For the guys, Casey Abrams will sing a Beatles song "With A Little Help From My Friends". Scotty McCreery chose "The River" by Garth Brooks and Jacob Lusk chose "I Believe I Can Fly" by R.Kelly, their song choice and performance might be a predictable one. James Durbin will do a Paul McCartney song " Maybe I'm Amazed", just do something different aside from belting out this song. Interesting to hear will be Stefano Langone's version of "Lately" by Stevie Wonder.
On Thursday, the first Idol to go home will be announced plus Adam Lambert, David Cook and Diddy will be on the show.
