It is something new for American Idol, instead of top 12, judges decided to get another one to make it top 13.
The first twist at tonight's revelation is, the top 10 hopefuls who got the highest votes will continue and then judges will pick who will be included in the wild card. The wild card contestants will perform for the last time and will try to convince the judges that they deserve to stay in the competition.
The top 10 are Scott McCreery, Casey Abrams, Jacob Lusk, Paul McDonald,Jame Durbin, Pia Toscano, Lauren Alaina, Karen Rodriguez, Haley Reinhart. Also included in the top 10 is Thia Megia, a 15 year old Filipino American. After her performance last night. Randy Jackson compare her to the late great Michael Jackson
Ashton Jones, Naima Adedapo, Stefano Langone had to work their way to stay. Aston Jones was chosen by Randy Jackson for the wild card and got in. Jennifer Lopez chose Stefano Langone and Steven wants Naima Adedapo to stay.
