Vanessa Bryant filed a divorce, with a reason of irreconcilable differences.
Vanessa and Kobe got married in 2001 and now have two daughters. She signed the divorce papers on Dec 1 while Kobe signed it Dec. 7 and was filed last Friday.
They got married in 2001, when Bryant got into a sexual assault controversy in 2003, Vanessa stood by him.
In an official statement told at The Insider, "We ask that in the interest of our young children and in light of the upcoming holiday season, the public respect our privacy during this most difficult time,”The Bryants will resolved all issues related to their divorce privately with the assistance of counsel"
The couple didn't signed a prenup, that means Vanessa is entitled to have half of Bryant's wealth.
