After more than a year, the court granted Kris Aquino and James Yap's request for annulment.
Kris tweeted, Going to HK Disney w/ josh & bimby. Need this weekend to just be the
5 of us (me, my 2 sons & yaya A & Gerbel). Yes I'm annulled
& can only wish for james & me lasting happiness & genuine
friendship for Bimby's sake.
Back in June 2010, Kris announced that she is living James for good.The queen of all media filed the annulment back in August 2010, she stated a reason of"psychological incapacity".
The two decided to privately settle everything for Baby James/Bimby's sake. There was no pre-nuptial agreement signed before they got married and they are still settling properties and financial division.
