Sen. Tito Sotto was accused of plagiarism after his anti-RH bill speech a few weeks back, and now he is again accused of copying another speech. And some wanted him out of the Senate for doing it again.
The Senator is accused of "copying" the 1966 Kennedy speech, but with a twist. He put the words into a local language which is, Tagalog.
Kennedy's speech:
"Few will have the greatness to bend history itself, but each of us can
work to change a small portion of events, and in the total of all those
acts will be written the history of this generation."
"It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped.
"Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance."

Petition to Oust:
One is enough, 2 is too much and they don't want to have 3 in a row for the Senator. On a site change.org, they wrote a petition to oust or remove Senator Sotto from the Senate. One million signature in 30 days, the petitioner is Matt Quiros.
The petitioner wrote 3 reasons, he is a popular public figure yet he uses his political and showbiz influence to spread misinformation about reproductive health, he is a serial plagiarist and shows no remorse about it and he is sexist.
On the same site, if you want to support the petition, you have to sign your name, email address and write your reason why he has to be ousted in the Senate. There are 2 thousand plus people signed the petition.
