10.10.10 Run for Pasig

The “10.10.10 A Run for the Pasig River" is a big success, with almost 160,000 registrants. Celebrities and politicians who supported the event are former President Fidel V. Ramos, Vice President Jejomar Binay, Mayor Alfredo Lim of Manila, Mayor Antonino Calixto of Pasay, MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino, Congressman Manny Pacquiao, Servant Leader Mike Z. Velarde, Presidential sister  Ballsy Aquino-Cruz, Piolo Pascual and Zaijan Jaranilla. 

The said event is organized by Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig, the main goal is to clean the Ilog Pasig and bring back its beauty.

After the race Frio, 6 cyclemind,Luis Manzano, Karylle, Melai Cantiveros, Jason Francisco, Jovit Baldivino, and Bugoy Drilon entertained the participants.

Adam Lambert is here now

Adam Lambert arrived in Manila for his concert at Mall of Asia Concert ground. Adam's famous songs are "What do you want from me" and the 2012 theme song "Time for Miracles". His latest album is entitled  "For Your Entertainment". 

Lady Gaga and Yoko Ono

Last October 2 Lady Gaga performed together with Yoko Ono and her Band We Are Plastic Ono Band at Orpheum Theater in  Los Angeles. This is part of the celebration of John Lennon's 70th birthday.

   

President Aquino III: Status: Single

President Noynoy and girlfriend Councilor Shalani Soledad ended their relationship in their own quiet way. The two had dinner at Alfredo’s, restaurant and agreed to call it quits.

Friends of  the ex-couple clear that there is no third party involve in the said break up.

When the truth was still not yet out, Shalani was asked about the status of their relationship but she chose not to elaborate her answer.

President Aquino has been keeping his personal life from the media, if there's one thing that he wants to keep private, it is his relationship with Shalani. Some say that the president is the one who put an end to it.

On the other hand Shalani also kept her distance from the media and in her own way supporting her ex boyfriend during the election. Until now nothing is heard from her and again chose to keep it from the eye of the people.

"The one" for Manny Pacquiao

Zyrene Parsad became a household name when she joined GMA 7's singing search Are You the Next Big Star? Zyrene, 24 won 3rd place in the said competition and joined the defunct show S.O.P.

After her stint in the television, she got herself busy singing to corporate and private affairs.When she got invited in the Investor's night in Saranggani province and sung the national anthem, Lupang Hinirang,  Congressman Manny Pacquiao heard her. In that moment she was chosen to sing the Lupang Hinirang on November 13, 2010 in Cowboy Stadium Arlington Texas for the Pacquiao-Margarito fight.

She's so excited at the same time nervous about it because most of the singers who sung the song was criticized by the National Historic Commission. For her preparation, she immediately went to her dentist and removed her braces even if it is not yet due.

Pepsi Herrera designed a red Serpina gown for Zyrene and advised her to wear heels to compliment her gown. The gown is expensive because of the fabric and the beaded swarovski crytals.

Kris Aquino and Kids got infected of Foot and Mouth Disease

Thursday night Kris Aquino twitted
“We r all sick. Josh caught foot & mouth disease. Nahawa Bimby & me. I don’t have the sores around the mouth or the rashes sa hands & feet but my fever went up to 40 last night. We r all taking Zoverax & Immunosin. Ang tibay the 3 yayas, Yaya A, Gerbel & Ruby. Di sila nahawa. Rare daw for an adult to get hawa but u know me -- lapitin ng sakit. Naka isolate kami for at least 1 week.”
 
Kris said that they got HFMD from Josh, Josh had a fieldtrip and suspected that he got the virus from the place they visited.

A person with HFMD will have headache, high fever, sores on palms of hands and feet, loss of appetite, and diarrhea.HFMD is cause by intestinal viruses and a lot different from FMD that is related to animals. 


Kris also added “Bimby & I r in 1 room since we still both have fever -- kuya’s in his room because he’s pagaling na. If we have contact w/ him baka mabinat sya. Last night grabe -- they iced na my feet & head because fever was 40. We’re not allowed to leave our condo til next weekend.”

Mackezie Foy is officially Renesmee Cullen!

It is now confirmed that Mackenzie Foy will play Renesmee Cullen in Twilight Breaking Dawn!!  Stephenie Meyer confirmed the said news in her facebook account.

"Very excited about our new Renesmee, Mackenzie Foy," wrote Meyer. "She's an amazing young actress and I'm excited to work with her." 

Mackenzie's role plays a big factor in the story and the biggest challenge for director Bill Condon. The birth scene and Renesmee's transformation will keep the whole crew busy.

Pres. Benigno Aquino III: Report Kay Boss

Yesterday is the first 100 days of Pres. Aquino III. Pnoy's Report Kay Boss is his way of informing the people about his accomplishments for the past 100 days.  Even if some students protested inside the podium, the president just let them finished their protest. Peacefully the PSG escorted them while living the podium. After his speech he answered some questions from the media, the said event is held at La Consolacion College in Manila.
