The new Superman

Henry Cavill joins the superhero bandwagon,The Tudors star will be the next Clark Kent also known as Superman.  The 28 year old actor is also seen in the film The Count of Mnyte Cristo.

The film will be under the direction of Zack Snyder, he stated “In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time, and I am honored to be a part of his return to the big screen. I also join Warner Bros., Legendary and the producers in saying how excited we are about the casting of Henry. He is the perfect choice to don the cape and S shield.”

The storyline is not yet revealed but what is clear now is, the new  Superman is a British.

John Estrada and Randy Santiago left Willie Revillme

End of long friendship

Last week before Willie Revillame's birthday, he revealed that John Estrada and Randy Santiago will have a  noontime show on ABS CBN. Willie is asking his friends to turn down the offer because he already talked to Mr. Manny Pangilinan of TV5 and there are big plans for them. Right after Willie's revelation, John called Willie and as they talk on a live telecast of Willing Willie, pain and disappointment is all over  Willie's face after hearing that they already accepted the offer.

Willie will be John Estrada's bestman on his wedding this coming February, out of pain and betrayal Willie said " Maghanap ka na ng bagong bestman mo'.

John, Randy and Willie are best of friends,  their friendship is beyond showbiz and way long before their shows. Before Willie became what he is right now, the two are his confidant, with all the controversies and issues about his personal life  And with John and Randy's decision to accept what Willie's number one antagonist offer, is a big betrayal of their friendship.

The said noontime show will be aired on February 26, aside from John and Randy, queen of comedy Ai-Ai de Las Alas will be on the noontime show.  Also on the said noontime show is Toni Gonzaga and Mariel Rodriguez, who already fix things and settle what they had last year. .

   

GLEE: big comeback

After a long break, Glee is back on Feb. 6 just right after the Super Bowl. Songs for the premiere episode for 2011 are Need you now by Lady Antebellum, Bills, bills,bills by Destiny's Child and Thriller by Michael Jackson.

The Thriller and Heads will Roll  mash up is such a big presentation, with the costumes, make up and acting. People behind Glee prepared something big this 2011, including the return of Charice.
 

Willie's birthday celebration

Yesterday, January 27 is the 50th birthday of Willie Revillame. The celebration is just the same as he was still hosting his former show WOwowee, he made sure that the fans who came and greet him will get things from him. Whether its money or his product endorsement, people will go home with smile on their faces.

He gave away 5 50,000 pesos in an electronic raffle for those who texted and greet him , a total of 250,000 pesos. A raffle for a 15 seater FOTON van given by his sponsor FOTON, out of 6 people who tried to get the right key, one lucky fan went home with a brand new FOTON van.Three lucky audience got an instant CAMELLA house and lot, the two got the right key and other one was personally given by Senator Villar.

The only artist who came to sing, is Mr. Basil Valdez, Willie's all time favorite singer.Accompanying Basil is the "Maestro", Ryan Cayabyab.  Shalani sung "Salamat sa Pag-ibig Mo"  written and composed by Vehnee Saturno, is her gift to Willie.

Last nigh is just the beginning of the celebration, there's a lot of prizes and surprises for Willie's 50th birthday. Another big celebration today and tomorrow, his good friends will surprise and greet him.

83rd Academy Awards nominees announced

Black Swan and The Social networking gathered major nominations for the 83rd Academy Awards.

Natlaie Portman's Black Swan is nominated for best picture, best cinematography, best film editing,  best director for Darren Aronofsky and best actress for a leading role for Portman.

The Social Networking is also nominated for best picture, best cinematography,best film editing, David Fincher for best director and best actor for a leading role Jesse Eisenberg.

The 83rd Academy Awards will be on February 27 on abc.

Daniel Matsunaga's video kissing another girl is circulating right now. Daniel is known to be Heart Evangelista's current boyfriend, they met in GMA's dramaserye Langit sa Piling Mo and became open about their relationship right after the show.

The 22 year old Brazilian-Japanese introduced Heart to his family last year and she spend time with them when they went to Japan for a short vacation. She's all praises to Daniel, for being a nice person,a loving boyfriend, brother and son.
