Sid Lucero is nominated for best actor at the 2010 International Emmy Awards.His portrayal in the telenovela Dahil May Isang Ikaw gave him a chance for the said award. His fellow nominees are Bob Hoskins of United Kingdom, Sebastian Koch of Germany, and Leonardo Sbaraglia of Argentina.
Sid played the role of Alfred "Red" Ramirez, he made the life of Angela "Ella" Alferos-Ramirez (Kristine Hermosa) and Miguel Ramirez (Jericho Rosales) miserable. The show premiered August 2009. Included in the show are Lorna Tolentino, Gabby Conception and John Estrada.
Dahil May Isang Ikaw is also nominated for Best Telenovela. The winners will be announced on November 22, 2010 in New York.
