AZKALS' big game against Sri Lanka

The Philippine National Football team will face Sri Lanka for the 2nd time after 15 years.

Back on 1996, the team was beaten 0-3 by Sri Lanka, that was before, now there's high hopes and determination. After their win against Vietnam, the AZKALS became more inspired and full of confidence.


The team went to Germany for their training and do some exhibition games. Dan Palami, team manager of the AZKALS, is confident that this time the team will give the Red Braves a hard time. He also pointed out that the team is stronger, with the addition of new players,  Fil-foreigners Manuel Ott, Stephan Schorck, Nathaniel Burkey and Paul Mulders.

Tomorrow, live in Sri lanka, Studio 23 will broadcast the game, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. On July 3, the 2nd round will be at Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
