Romi Garduce 7th summit campaign

Veteran mountain climber, Romi Garduce will try to make his 7th summit expedition

Garduce, team up with GMA 7, to cover his journey, as he tries to climb 2 more mountains to complete his 7th summit campaign. He will climb the 16,023 foot Carstenz Pyramid in Indonesia and he 16,067 foot Vinson Massif in Antarctica.

The famous mountaineer already reach the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa (2002) Mt. Aconcagua in South America (2005) Mt. Everest in the Asian continent (2006) Mt. Elbrus in Europe (2007) the Denali Peak in North America (2008) and Mt. Kosciuszko in Australia (December 2008). His journey in Mt. Everest was also documented by the Kapuso Network.  

This July he will first try to reach the summit of Carstenz Pyramid in Indonesia and on December he will climb Vinson Massif in Antarctica.

“Seven Summits Expedition of 2011” will be broadcasted by GMA 7 News and Public Affairs and GMA News TV.

If Garduce successfully completes his mission, he will be the first Filipino mountaineer to reach the summit of the 7 highest mountains in seven continents.
