The Puerto Princesa Underground River (PPUR) is part of the New 7 wonders of Nature
The founder and president of New7Wonders of Nature announced the list.
Last year Palawan Mayor Edward Hagedorn launched a campaign to put PPUR in the New 7 wonders of Nature. “This confirmation is wonderful news for Puerto Princesa, and a great example of how now it’s more fun to be in the Philippines,” said Hagedorn
The tourists adores the limestones,stalactites and stalagmites formation of the underground river.
Joining the list are, Amazon rainforest, Halong Bay in Vietnam, Iguazu Falls in Argentina, Jeju Island in South Korea, Komodo in Indonesia and Table Mountain in South Africa.
