After Arnold Clavio's statement on their show Unang Hirit, AZKALS fans reacted furiously including Phil Younghusband's girlfriend, Angel Locsin.
Actress Angel Locsin tweeted "I think arnold clavio's a good person. But this time, sobrang foul lang. That's his opinion. This is mine. Madali lang sumira ng reputasyon, mahirap ibalik. Konting sensitivity lang san" and she retweeted @143redangel Agree on this. He offended not only the Azkals players but the majority of us Pinoys whose blood is not pure, atleast for him. He should apologize and perhaps be reprimanded for his lack of tact. Nasa media pa naman sha.
Angel is defending the team and her boyfriend Phil, against those people questioning her intention about the issue. About publicity issue accused by someone "ano naman pong mapapala ko dito. Kawawa naman yung tao" and being a woman " kung para sa kabutihan ng kababaihan ang paguusapan, wag mo kong huhusgahan.
When asked about her opinion if her boyfriend is not on the team she replied, "syempre iba yung magiging reaction natin pag alam nating masasaktan ung taong mahal natin☺ naaawa lang talaga ako.. Hope u'll understand☺
